I am happy to report that my new Lennox G61MPVT unit has been operating extremely well since my purchase in March 2008.

The unit was installed by Oxby Warm Air Ltd who also supplied and installed our first Lennox unit in 1981. They were very professional and completed the installation in one day.

I believe that I was one of your first customers to install the latest Lennox G61MPVT high efficiency condensing warm air heater.

There have been so many improvements to the model which have been apparent in use such as fully adjustable fan speed, electronic ignition, no open flue through which heat can escape.

Our gas bills already reflect the improved efficiency claimed by Lennox.

In July 2009 we replaced a 43 year old Lennox G8 heater with a new Lennox G61MPVT condensing warm air heater. The new heater is reported to show an increase in fuel efficiency over the G8 from approximately 60% to approximately 90% in comparison with the bill for the same period last year and the first quarterly gas bill reflects this.

The new unit has given no problem since installation and Airways Heating of Nottingham did a thoroughly professional job and carried out the installation within one day.

Our first Lennox unit was installed 40 years ago when we converted a 100 year old Victorian house.

Although the original Lennox still functioned we made the decision to update to the new Lennox G61MPVT condensing version although we had to wait until this unit was available in the UK.

Gasflow Limited provided accredited installers from which we selected Jemat Heating of Hemel Hempstead who provided an efficient and neat installation.

We supplemented the installation with a Trion Electronic Air Cleaner as the London air can be quite polluted in all seasons and this efficient, easily maintained addition has proven its worth.

I was one of the first customers to have the Lennox G61MPVT installed since Lennox recommenced importing heating units from America. I was on the verge of buying another brand from Europe but fortunately waited for this high-tech unit to arrive. The specification is very impressive and it is poles apart from the 30 year old Lennox it replaces. Even the exhaust outlet pipe remains reasonably cool to the touch unlike ‘old technology’ models. It has been reliable and quiet in operation; some features such as the variable-speed fan are noticeable differences between this and the last boiler. The other area where it is noticeably different is the lower gas consumption reflecting the higher efficiency of this unit.

Airways Heating Ltd who installed this for us have been attentive throughout and very keen to ensure that the unit was installed correctly and then set it up to run on the correct settings for our preferences and the location of the unit. They offer good service and after care, which naturally gives us the comfort of being happy with our decision to commit to this new and high-tech unit, which has been reliable and after 18 months or using it we are sure we made the correct decision.

I would like to say that I am delighted with the Lennox G61MPVT that you supplied, it is much more efficient than the previous Lennox heater I had, although I had no complaints with that one as it gave 35 years of good service.

The new unit is quite adequate for a 4-bedroom house although the output is set at a lower level. The service that Airways Heating Ltd of Nottingham gave when installing the heater was very efficient and I would recommend them to anyone. The installation team were most hardworking, diligent and considerate.
